Its stacked cutting mechanism shreds more than 16 sheets into confetti in one pass so they fall into a convenient, 6-gallon bin. You won't have to bother removing staples. The paper shredder can shred staples as well as credit cards and CDs/DVDs. Perfect for light-duty use, it runs quietly at 70 decibels for 10 minutes before needing a 30-minute shutdown. Interlock switch automatically shuts off the shredder when the bin is removed. Paper entry is 8-7/8" wide.
